3.Mixed

Mixed Hearing Loss

A conductive hearing loss, also known as SNHL, can occur in conjunction with a sensorineural hearing loss. In addition, conductive hearing loss can result from injury to the inner ear or nerves if the hearing loss is mixed. If you are in a loud environment, the fluids in your middle ear will increase and worsen.

4. Retrocochlear

Hearing loss that develops on the cochlea is called retrocochlear. The auditory nerve in your ear will be harmed and will cause hearing loss. When you have a retrocochlear, your inner ear will process sound properly, but the nerve has difficulty sending information to your brain.
